The Penticton WorkZone office is happy to offer an expanded Job Search Workshop Series starting immediately! This 3 part series consists of:

Resume Series
This 5-session series provides individuals with all the steps necessary to understand the purpose and design of a resume, to organize their personal information, and to create a resume that speaks to employers. It is the basis of capturing and understanding the skills we are offering so that we can capitalize on this information in the Job Search Series and Interview Series. Topics include: Resume Foundations; Resume Preparation; Resume Production Styles; Resume Production Formats; Targeting the Resume.

Job Search Series
This 5-session series complements the resume series by allowing individuals to focus on what you need to create your message, create your network, find potential employers, tailor your cover letter and handle employment applications. Topics in this series include: Marketing Yourself, Networking, Job Search Strategies, Cover Letters, and Applications.

Interview Series
This 3-session series allows individuals to use the awareness gathered from the previous two series, to focus on how to market themselves in an interview situation with comfort and confidence. Handling difficult questions, awkward moments, body language, and follow-ups are all covered. Topics also include: Interview Basics; Interview Strategies and Practice Session; Putting it All Together.
